As you all have seen on the news, life has been somewhat rough here in Lexington, KY. Kris and I were scheduled to leave to go to New York at 8:30 am on the same day that Flight 5191 crashed. We had to get our son, Eric, to take us to Cinn. airport to catch our connecting flight to New York.

It wasn’t until after we arrived at the hotel that I found out that my boss’s wife, Carole Bizzack, was on Flight 5191. We came back on Thursday and attended her visitation and funeral on Friday and Saturday.

There are a lot of people here in Lexington that knew folks on that airplane. Kris worked with some from the University of Kentucky and we knew someone from our church who was on that flight.
